Ronald William "Ron" Howard (conceived Walk 1, 1954) is an American performer, executive and maker. He came to conspicuousness as a tyke performing artist, playing Opie Taylor in the sitcom The Andy Griffith Appear for a long time, and later as the teenaged Richie Cunningham in the sitcom Upbeat Days for a long time.
